October 11th, 2010 at 3:37 amGreat report and has certainly opened my eyes a tad more… this massive spending of taxpayer money to pay more than is reasonable for these City of Loveland positions has to stop. They say it all starts in the small towns and moves up. Seems Loveland is guilty of the big spending too. Does the city really need an Assistant Gold Pro? I would think his job may be eliminated and maybe some of those 20 who have been laid off might get their job back. More people need to start making noise about all this! Will taxpayers get to vote on the proposed Employee Pay Plan? Sure as heck hope so and I hope we are able to say NO!
October 11th, 2010 at 2:10 pmI admire what you people are trying to do. The school districts in Kansas (my state) are constantly crying for more money. They are totally unaccountable, spending millions on football stadiums, indoor swimming pools, and, one I know for sure, USD 501 in Topeka, spends millions on acquiring real estate. The problem we face is the constant attempts to “minimize” organizations like yours by the Liberal mainstrean media. Good luck, have a nice day.

Thank you for your kind words. The issue with K-12 spending is universal. Yet the education/industrial complex continues to cry poverty. You are correct about being marginalized. The takings coalition, including special interest groups, lawmakers and bureaucrats, loves to call us unsophisticated, anti-intellectual or mean spirited. And those are the nice things. But our kids future is at stake. We won’t be bullied anymore. If we don’t fight them, our kids lose. That won’t happen on MAD’s watch.
Thank you for your support.
