Padding the Payment

Padding the Payment:

By Jax Bubis

MAD synopsis:  The court orders the state of Colorado to reimburse progressive watchdog group Colorado Ethics Watch for attorney fees.  The court ordered bill was $10,332.02. The state paid CEW $10,500.00.

Mobsters Inc

Once upon a time dere was a mobstah.  His name was George “Bugsy” Soros. One of his top guys was Timmy “the Tommy-Gun” Gill.  Their CREW of enforcers ruled their hood by intimidatin’, suin’, and squalkin’ a lot.

Oh, the CREW looked so innocent  and honorable on paper but they was thugs.  Thugs with a lotta dough behind em.

Bugsy and Tommy-Gun had a beef wit’ a guy named Ickey, who just mighta been a mobstah, his-self. He was a consigliere to another family of sometimes shady characters.  Bugsy and Tommy-Gun, dey put a hit out on Ickey.  Dey wanted to rub Ickey out, ice him, whack him, or if nuttin’ else, shake him down good.

Ickey tried to fight off the CREW.

Finally, Dey had a sit down with da JUDGE.  Da Judge smiled at Bugsy and Tommy-Gun and smirked at Ickey.

“Pay em, Ickey,” da Judge ordered.

“How much?” Ickey asked.

“Ten Grand, and tree-hundred-tirty-two bucks,” said da Judge.

So Ickey hit up his banker, where he’d deposited the score he’d made robbin’ the folks of the state, and paid Bugsy and Tommy-Gun.  For good measure, he padded the payment.
